Twitter disclosed yesterday that dedicated GIF button will be added today, as it will allow Twitter users to quickly and easily find the right GIFs to add to their tweets and Direct Messages. The button will allow the users to browse an inventory of GIFs by simply using a keyword or by searching through the categories.
The GIFs are being provided by Twitter partners GIPHY and Riffsy. With this innovation,users will be able to find the GIF that best suite the real meaning of their tweet or Direct Message. Twitter made it known that over 100 million GIFs were tweeted last year.
The dedicated GIF button will be made available to Twitter users on iOS, Android and on Twitter.com today. Keep an eye for the new button to appear on your profile.
