According to new report by Korean Digital Times, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S7 by February next year, with an integrated LTE Cat.12 modem.
Various reports released recent weeks have suggested the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be formally unveiled in January and will be made available in various markets by the end of February.
Evidently, both the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 powered variations of the Galaxy S7 will be equipped with an integrated LTE Cat.12 modem. The LTE Cat.12 standard is capable of delivering maximum download speeds up to 600 Mbps and maximum upload speeds up to 100 Mbps. That’s basically twice as that of Samsung Galaxy S6 with LTE Cat.6 modem.
