HONOR 5X TO RECEIVE ANDROID 6.0 AND EMU14

A report published today reveals that the honor 5X will receive Android 6.0 and the latest version of honor's UI as the phone is expected to launch via Amazon and Newegg on January 31st.

The update to Android 6.0 and EMUI4 could take place the very same day that the phone is made available in the United states, because it is expected to be launched with Android 5.1 on board.


The phone features include; A 5.5-inch LCD screen with a 1080 x 1920 (FHD) resolution. The Snapdragon 615 SoC is under the hood, with an octa-core 1.5GHz CPU and the Adreno 405 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside along with 16GB of native storage. It also come with 128GB capacity microSD slot.

The 13MP rear-facing camera comes with an aperture of f/2.0, A 5MP front-facing camera snaps selfies and handles video chats. The 3000mAh battery keeps the lights on, and a rear-facing fingerprint scanner is on board.  The phone is compatible with the networks of AT&T and T-Mobile.
