One of the Chinese telecommunication giants, Huawei has confirmed former Apple creative director Abigail Brody as their new chief in the department of user experience design.
Her appointment was reported by some of the tech sites in china before formally disclosed by the company, Huawei on their social media platform.
Brody, the woman pictured above will lead a team of almost 80 user interface designers to design the look of all Huawei products for the new age.
Before her appointment, Brody spent 10years with Apple as a creative director. During her time with the Company, she designed first iPhone and icloud. After that, she was appointed as eBay and PayPal vice president of global design for two years.
It was her wealth of experience that made Huawei secured her service this year.
Chief officer of Huawei, Richard Yu said; “Abigail`s rich experience will help substantially improve Huawei’s products, thereby making the company fit to take on premium competitors such as Apple and Samsung.”
