HOW TO ACTIVATE ATM CARDS FOR ONLINE TRANSACTIONS VIA ATMs

Before you can use your ATM card for online transactions, you need to register for interswitch safe-token service. The service helps in protecting any transaction carried out via the interswitch platform with their 6-8 digits called One Time Password (OTP) that  will sent to you for verification.

Registering for the service enable your ATM card for online transaction and thereby secure your account as the (OTP) can only be received by the phone number you used during the registration process.

Follow the steps below to register your card for the service;

• Go to the nearest ATM and insert your card
• Select the 'Quickteller' option from the ATM menu screen
• Select 'Pay Bills'
• Select 'Others'
• Enter '322222' as the payment code
• Enter your phone number as the Customer Reference Number
• Follow the prompts to complete the transaction
• Service costs N1 will show up on the screen
• Click on 'Pay Amount Due,

Confirmation message will be sent to your phone for successful transaction.
